New card (cards) suggestions?

Currently looking to apply for some other cards since I only have two 1 year old BOA and a month old discover it. Only reason is I'm trying to "garden for say the next two years.

Any recommendations? Preferably no annual fee.

Discover said my Fico is 759. Thanks

For you to get better responses, list what you want in a card thus what you want this card to do for you. For example, do you want a card that works well say when shopping for groceries or do you want a card that helps you get miles.

A clear description will help give you better answers.

You are right should have mentioned that
I don't travel much so I guess it'll be better for me to get something different yet I already have two cash back cards so idk if getting another would be smart unless I get different perks.

What are your scores for all 3 bureaus? If you only have 2, you need 1 for when it comes to maximizing and calculating scores. Have you looked to American Express? They have some cards that don't have fees.

If you like the ease of cash back instead of having to deal with rewards points/conversions/etc. then a general spend card would make the most sense for you. Fidelity Amex, Citi DC, and CapOne QS are the three most popular in that category.

Well I'm not much of a spender so I'll say I spend about 1000 a month outside of rent I think.

Also while the Amex blue seems nice isn't similar to the BOA cash rewards?

I would also be interested in a cash back card with good perks like deals and stuff

They are similar, just 3-2-1 with the 3 and 2 categories flipped. A couple things in Amex's favor:

1) the 2% on gas is unlimited whereas BoA has the 2% and 3% total capped at $1500 a quarter

2) the 2% also includes some department stores

BoA does have the banking bonus though, so if you have BoA checking/savings account you get a bump in the cash back.

What types of things do you buy? Is it mainly eating out? Movies/other entertainment? Groceries? Gas? Something else? None of the general spend cards have many deals since they're already generally high cash back; the deals typically come with category spending cards.

Then look at Amex. Another good cashback is Chase Freedom. You should look into that also.

How is Amex with CLI ? I heard chase was bad

Amex cards grow quickly. You can get your first CLI after 60 days of applying. And then another one in 6 months.

There is no specific time. But wait on the Chase Freedom as there is rumor out there Chase will be rolling out the $200 offer again on the Freedom card next month.

I was going to suggest BCE too, particuarly when you said deals. I have $200-$300 from Amex deals since April when I started paying attention. The good ones seem to come in spurts.

You don't have to wait 60 days. You may WANT to to show use/history, but the 60 day rule is gone, isn't it?

I've been very happy with AmEx.
