I noticed last year that during the holidays I received quite a few limit increases, especially on my store cards. I'll keep my fingers crossed that my bankcards will be generous too this time.

Since the holidays are almost here, I'm wondering if the credit card companies are more generous with limits and approvals at this time of year to encourage more use. Anyone have any idea?

Though, it's impossible to know for sure if they would've gotten that increase anyway, regardless of the season or time of the year. I suppose it would make sense for retail cards to be a bit more flexible during this time of the year though.
