Citi Thankyou Points Not Posting

I met the minimum spend on the Citi Thankyou Premier card in late August. Since then, 2 statements have closed. The statements closed on September 7th and October 7th. The bonus points have still not posted.

The CSR I spoke to seemed to think that it was somewhat unusual, but he said that I might not get the bonus points until November 7th. That would be 3 statements after meeting minimum spend. I received my Prestige card a month later than my Thankyou Premier card, and the Prestige bonus points have already posted.

Has anyone had it take this long for the Thankyou signup bonus points to post?

I'd call up again. My prestige points took too long to post, and I happened to have a case open with the ERU at the time, and when they called me back I asked them about it. Next day I had my points.

My citigold points were supposed to post 9/30, and they didnt, so I had to call up and ask to get them posted. If another rep tells you "no it's gonna take till november" I'd hit up citi at @AskCiti on twitter.

Were the points on one of your statements and just never made their way to your thankyou account?

Thanks for the info. The points aren't on any of my statements. I'll try calling again Tuesday.

If they aren't on your statements, then citi hasn't issued them yet, and you will likely never get them without calling. Are you sure you hit the 3k spend?

It was 60K for 3.5K spend. I had 5.2K spend. The CSR assured me that I did, in fact, meet the minimum spend in August. He said that there was no problem.

@I just tweeted @AskCiti. They said it might take 3 months. I just don't believe it. I can't believe that if I wait another month, the points will magically post. I think something has gone wrong. I'll try calling them again next week. Hopefully, I'll get better results with the next call.

Without a doubt.

The same CSR that told me I might get the points in November, also said that it was possible that points would post in 2 or 3 more business days. I'm doubtful that this is going to happen. My statement closed on Wednesday. So, I'll probably wait until Monday or Tuesday just to make sure. Then I'll call again.

So, I finally got to the root of the matter.

I had a long call with Citi. The CSR figured out what the problem was. I was originally enrolled in the 50K for 3K spend offer. I sent an SM and asked to be matched to the 60K for 3.5K spend. My request was approved.

At the time the request was approved I already had 4.6K spend. However, they reset the clock. So, none of my previous spending counted. The CSR spoke to a supervisor. They were being really hard nosed about this.She said there was nothing they could do.

Then, I read the SM I received in August. It said, "Our records show that your account has been enrolled in the offer to earn 60,000 bonus Thank You points if you spend $3,500 by 11/07/15."

Once I read the SM, things seemed to change. The CSR said that she would get the situation corrected with her manager on Monday and that she would call me back.

So, hopefully this problem will get straightened out.

How did you determine your citigoild points were supposed to post 9/30? I'm still waiting for mine and now I am wondering if I should contact them to try to get the points.

I got my points on my prestige card pretty quick. I will be meeting my premier spend requirement in the next two weeks. After three months I'd be all over them though. That is just excessive.

How did you determine your citigoild points were supposed to post 9/30? I'm still waiting for mine and now I am wondering if I should contact them to try to get the points.

I called and asked and they told me 9/30, then i called on like 10/3 and was like "yo, wheres my points" and was told they should have posted already, and an "investigation" was done.
