Ummm, stop! I tried already, you said NO. Don't tease me like this, I really want one with all the spending we do there! Not wasting a HP until I can figure out the criteria for getting approved and if I'll ever be eligible.

It's a great cc to have if you shop there. My wife got approved around May/2015 with a Fico of about 630 for 1.5k. 2 CO and 2 collections from the CO, and 1 settled CO, all from 2008/09. Can't recall her util that month but probably around 30%. Maybe 1 hp or 2. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the info. It looks like I won't be getting one in forever, they pulled EQ last time and go figure, its the one with 28 inquiries now AFTER my car shopping experience last weekend. Oh well, a girl can hope and dream, right?!?

Yeap 5% cb AND 8% APR on all Bjs store purchases. Can't beat that if you shop there.

OP with that many inq, try to Garden maybe 6 months and reapply.

Six months of gardening isn't going to help with the inq's, about 1/2 of them are from last weekend - car shopping, those have two years to come off. For whatever reason, EQ was the flavor or the day! Oh well, my CU still approved membership and my auto loan even with the 28 reporting, they weren't scared so neither am I, lol!

Just saying, it's easier to garden if you're not getting taunted by BJ's.............

They will still be there, but the lender might overlook them if they are old enough. So 6 months is kinda the starting point where they might not affect a lender decision to extend you credit.
