Any new cards out in 2016?

I see Amex has a plenti card. But is Chase, Citi or CO coming out with anything? All I see is travel and airlines cards which aren't useful to me.

There have been rumors recently on the forum that Cap1 may be coming out with a new, game-changing product soon....

AMEX and Charles Schwab are supposed to release a credit card and a charge card in Q1 (I believe). My guess is rewards will be comparable to TD Ameritrade and Fidelity's offerings (1.5% or more cash back).

This could be interesting... an Amex (Centurion Bank) product with 1.5% cash back on everything would be new (to Amex).

Of course, I would hope they would just 'bump' it up to at least 2% to compete with the Fidelity Amex (FIA) and the Citi Double-Cash.

If it materializes, it would definitely stand-out, at least when compared to the current Amex offerings.

I would love for Capital one to Issue a card like the TYP, ED, or CSP. where you could transfer points to partners and such. It would be awsome! help them out alot too

Completely agree. I'm only interested in cashback as well. I have my major categories fairly well taken care of and my Quicksilver as a catchall for any non-category spend. For the next year though it will go to my Discover thanks to the double cash promotion.

Speaking of double cash, i might pick that up at some point, but I haven't decided. I had planned to get the Freedom for the $200 spend bonus but Discover's double cashback tempted me more, especially since it will likely be going away.
