BofA Better Rewards

If I just put my Netflix on that card each month and then pay it when the bill comes in, will I still qualify for the $25 each quarter. Plus, I'd get $5 for having a checking account with them. How do you get the money? Is it a statement credit?

Yes you would. Let your balance report and then pay it. As far as I know no "minimum" amount. I put my internet bill on it. It comes in the form of a statement credit. Easy 100 bucks each year.

Yes you wouldn't get credit for a negative balance. If you can put something that is like around 30 dollars then that would be even less "thinking" than the netflix.

I would get $30 a quarter because I have a checking account with BofA. I can't think of anything that is a regular payment for over $30 a month. I'll figure something out. I'm not a fan of auto pay but maybe I can do that with one of my bills. Thank you for your help.

You don't have to get a statement credit; if you go online the main page for your BBR will have a link that says "View Rewards Preference"; you can change it from statement credit to a direct deposit into a BoA account instead.

That's what I do with my BofA cash rewards. Good to know I can do that with that card, too.

Good info. I do not have a BOA checking account so I did not know.

I think I read if you deposit it in your BofA account you get an extra 10% cash back.

I just checked when I changed my preference for the better rewards. That's only for the cash rewards card.

Edited to say that you do get an extra $5 for having a BofA account.
