USBank Cash+ CLI HP?

As title says, Does USBank still offer a smaller amount CLI every 6 months via SP or is it luck of the draw with computer after you submit?

Customer initiated request will be an HP. What you qualify for all depends on your credit and income versus their criteria. Luck is not relevant to the increase or pull.

FWIW I've never received any CLI's via SP at 6 month intervals. However, the request I made to double my limit was approved with a hard pull.

This is a bit old information but in May I got 2 SP CLIs. $1,500 on my Cash+ and $2,000 on my REI. Waiting till November to get the next round if available. Reports are frozen.

I've heard it was a SP if under 1500 for the increase, if not it's a HP. That's YMMV of course.

With all the apping you do, why are you so worried about a HP for a CLI? I'm not trying to argue, just curious. A HP + AAOA ding for a new account is worse than a simple HP CLI. Don't see the big deal in your situation.

Because they tend to be conservative and I don't want to be declined after a hp because they say to many new accounts or something... Plus being joint account that we don't use for anything but Starbucks, it's not worth hp but. It is low $5k limit

5k is a pretty decent limit if you're just using it for Starbucks!

I got a SP CLI a few months back, online request for $1,500. But it took over a week to get approved!

They are the only one send me offer of SP CLI, TWICE, I pass the offer TWICE,
For a Capped card, 5K is enough, my current limit of 10K is more than enough.
I want to leaving some breathing room for future application if any

it's been said that you can request a credit limit increase online every 6 months. Anything over $1,500 will be a hard pull. So request $1,500 for a soft pull. Or call them and ask if you are eliable for a soft pull credit limit increase or ask them to check to see they see a soft pull or pre-approved credit limit increase anywhere on your account. That's what i ask First National Bank of Omaha every 3 to 4 months because it's always a hard pull with FBNO when you initiate a credit limit increase online.

UPDATE: Through this link I was able to request UP TO $7500 (Which I did)

I received 2 denials today since it's a joint account:

I'm secondary borrow so mine just listed denial reason.

My partners letter stated the denial reason and then listed the TU Score they have on file from 9-25-15.

So while we were declined I can confirm it was a SP and I asked for the full $7500 through the link above!!!

My experience was to contact a customer service rep by phone and request a credit limit increase of $1,500. Did it on two different accounts. Both CLIs were granted as an SP. US Bank did later offer me a $4,500 CLI on a different card and it was approved and then went to underwriting for reivew which took two days and received an ok (no HP).

My experience with three US Bank cards is, after about 8 to 9 months they throw a good sized CLI your way anyhow. Latest was my Fred Meyer card, apped in December 2014, got $10k, used it for a few charges, some balance transfers to take advantage of the 0% APR, and consistent payments, and they recently bumped it to $14k with an auto CLI.

The one request I did a few months ago on my original Cash+, at 12,500, for another $1,500 was declined, but even that card started at $8,800 and was auto CLI to $12,500 after only minimal usage.
