$95 for a Diner's MasterCard - hidden $20k tradeline with low(er) APR should I carry a balance - that's it, one card and its worth it for my needs.

I pay the banks a BIG FAT NOTHING.

I choose to let them pay me for the privilege of using their cards. My spending doesn't justify a card with an AF and I don't ever pay interest on anything.

I don't really travel so cash back is king for me and Sallie, Freedom, Discover It, Chase AARP do every bit as good as any card with an annual fee could do for me with my spend levels at this point.

$95 Diners Premier(may be on chopping block hidden or not, only $10k) $49 IHG which is well worth it! Two Ventures at $59 waived first yr. Will be combined into QS or downgraded before af hits.

$0 fees and $17 in interest so far this year.....

Previously I paid $49 to BOA for their card i started with as a secured card. Called them earlier this year to ask for the fee to be removed permanently which they agreed to!!!

Right now:
Chase Ritz $395 - Fee waived first year, keeping because of $300 travel credit. Got 120k Marriott points
Chase Sapphire Preferred $95 - waived first year, closing before first fee hits in Feb 2016. Got 45,000 UR points.
Chase Marriott $85 - waived first year, keeping because of annual free night. Got 70k Marriott points.
Chase IHG $49 - waived first year, keeping because of annual free night. Got 80k IHG points plus 25k extra when they put me into Spire Elite because of points.
Barclays Aviator Silver $195. Initially US Airways card, paid $89 bucks and got 50K miles. Got my $100 global entry reimbursement a few days ago. Downgrading to free version or closing before next AF hits
Citi AAdvantage $95 - fee waived first year. Got 50k miles. Closing before fee hits.

So this year I only paid $89 for 1 card's fee.
Next year I'll pay: $529 but I'll get $300 in travel credit (flight GCs) so really $229. Not too bad.

$49 to Navy Federal Credit Union..the rest are waived for active duty military personnel!
