Second charge card?

For those that have experience with getting a second charge card from Amex, does Amex usually make you wait 6mo with current charge card before approving a second? This is in case I see a great offer for Platinum or PRG and decide to grab it, I have had my current Green for 5mo. Thoughts?

I think the 6 mos with them might be more along the lines of a guideline in a way. I think they mainly wanna see how you handle their cards as a customer first. With Amex you could apply and if declined its only a SP based on like most of the consensus it seems.

I've got the PRG in August and the Amex Green this month. Also, got Amex ED in September. Had before the Costco card and the Blue Cash.

Total right now: 5 Amex cards.

How did you apply for your second Charge? From a different private browser correct?

Yes, private browser because I've got the offer with 25K points. You cannot see the offer otherwise.

Got the ED in 12/2015, the PRG in June, and the Platinum, DL Gold and SPG in August. So... no?

Scores, inqs, and AAOA?

You can use 1 credit inquiry and grab 2+ charge cards and 1 revolver. You have had your green card long enough I think. Have u seen the 25k offer on the green card? Depending on what you can spend, I would try to get 2 cards at once....

Use incognito window or IE inprivate browser to get these offers to come up.

Maybe grab the PRG and the ED as a no AF way to park/earn points if you decide to nix the PRG. What are your plans for all these MRs? Delta transfers I hope??
