When it comes to central/southern Europe at least: not that I've noticed.

What I do notice in Europe is different benefit tiers, as in, Visa tends to be Classic/Gold/Platinum/Infinite vs Platinum/Signature. Also, when it comes to debit cards they are usually Visa Electron or Maestro (the MC equvallent to VE) and the main difference between these two and regular Visa/MC Debit from what I understand is that the funds being withdrawn are (generally or are at least supposed to be) always electronically authorized and they must be available at the time of auth or the purchase is declined (i.e., no overdraft).

The cards look identical. I had to hunt around to even figure out that I have Quicksilver One, and not Quicksilver.
Applied for Quicksilver and was denied....I'm guessing it requires a higher score? My current C1 cards (2 at 2k each) are sitting empty...not sure if that has an effect or not...

I had scores around 600 and got the qs visa no af 0apr for 10 months....but the interest on that puppy is 22.9% after. There is def a lot of disambiguation here with capital one.

No AF. - QS wmc. $5500 limit.

but if you started with Visa. there is nothing to pc to. except maybe a venture or

Venture one. but imo. The Quicksilver no AF is even better than the Venture. which is 2miles per dollar. But the Cash back out paces that. so i have both.

Is there glossary on this site for.all the abbreviation meaning s? I can figure out some but

not others. Thank you

There's a Helpful Threads sticky at the top of the Credit Cards forum section, with a link to a helpful "Common Abbreviations" page. PC simply means a product change, as in changing one credit card for another from the same issuer (e.g. BankAmericard Better Balance Rewards to BankAmericard Cash Rewards). Depending on the issuer, it can allow you to keep the same credit card number and history, but with the features of the new product (and sometimes without even having your credit hard pulled).

My old Household became a Quicksilver some time ago, remained a MC. A CSR told me it was regular Quicksilver, but today a different CSR told me it was actually a Quicksilver One. I don't have an annual fee though, never had AF even with Household. I sent an email to EO, but I may have to call to settle it once and for all.

I have two- a QS mastercard that was upgraded from a platinum. And i was approved for a QS VISA with a $500 cl. So not true that the minimum for a regular QS is 3000. I definitely have QS, not the one.
