According to the T&C you get 50pts for every dollar you spend at Speedway on top of any rewards you get as a member of the Speedy Rewards program, which I believe is 10pts/gal of gas and 20pts/$ spent in the store. For example: if you buy 10 gallons of gas @ $2/gal, you'll get $2*10*50=1000pts from the card and an additional 10*10=100pts for the rewards program for a total of 1100pts earned. Looking at this math, I'm pretty sure this means that the cheaper gas is the more points you get per dollar spent.

Now, points can be redeemed for VGC's (118,000pts for $100) or Speedway GC (202,000pts for $200), so the net cash back would be 4.66% or 5.45%, placing it slightly over most category spend CC's as long as you redeem for more gas. Of course, every month they run specials (usually you get a choice between additional pts/gal or pts/$) which could net you more points to raise the value a little higher.

It seems like a decent card if you have a Speedway or four close to you, especially since their gas is often the least expensive gas around. Does anyone have any experience with this card who can share their experience? I thought 12njoy and FNBO didn't get along too well? I remember issues with him/her opening Rakuten and Sun Country specifically, although eventually they were approved so they at least they're putting up a good front

I sat down and did the math for this card a few months ago, and it is not worth it at all.

Can you elaborate? If my numbers above are wrong I'd love to know what I'm missing, but if they aren't where are you getting significantly better than 5% back on gas?

I live in South Florida and our Hess just morphed into a Speedway. If anyone has any additional information about the card, I would love to hear about it too. Right now, that's where we purchase our gas. They seem to have the best price in our area. Thank in advance for your help!
