So, they grant me another 18k in credit, but denied PLOC for

Sufficiently obligated with unsecured indebtedness.

Your Credit score: 810

Date: 11/07/2015

Scores range from a low of 150 to a high of 950.

Key factors that adversely affected your credit score:

Amount owed on revolving accounts is too high

Length of time accounts have been established

Proportion of loan balances to loan amounts is too high

Proportion of revolving balances to total balances is too high

150-950? What score model is this? I know what's in my reports so two cards with balances, overall util under 10%. Loan balance ding is car 15k student loan 10k, but I don't get the amount owed on revolving accounts is too high and proportion of revolving balances to total balances it too high. So 10% util is too high for them?

Is Penfed recon friendly?

I have gone nuts during my rebuilding and have joined DCU, Penfed, NFCU, NASA and USAA. We made NFCU our primary bank and have had a great experience with them. Since they are not an option for you I would consider Penfed the next best choice. I have never read a single negative comment about them so that is a pretty good sign.

Congratulations!!! The $500 thrifty line came from the checking account. It's automatically checked when you signed up and you have to uncheck it if you didn't want it. To get the 5% on cash rewards there's a list of qualifying products in the description. I think the thrifty line qualifies you. But I know you can open a Money Market Account with $25.

I'd leave the thrifty line of credit alone for now if you want the PLOC. Thrifty has a high interest rate and is overdraft for the checking account. It reports. The PLOC has a lower APR so put your efforts there.
