It's accts like these, that help me:)

Some of you wonder how I get the credit I do and limits?? Well, I have several Accts just like this one on my reports. These acts even though closed, are a God send for me, and are helping my overall profile despite having 18 negs that fall off till 2019.

I'm gonna DIE when these good accts fall off my reports!! LOL!! 😉. If I only knew then what know now!!!

It has nothing to do with that account. You are pizza. Who doesn't love pizza? On a side note I was thouroughly upset that facebook would not let me be in any sort of a relationship with pizza. It is clearly at the very least a domestic partnership.

Haha, lol!!! I tried one time to be in a relationship with coffee on FB!

And you'd be surprised pfarro...theres a lot of people who dont like Pizza, lol. All you have to do is go visit another forum, and you'll see how much people dont like Pizza, ha!

And yes, it does have everything to do with accts like these on my reports! My AAOA is still decent like 4 yrs at least despite all my new Accts this year alone, because of my several Accts I have like these in good standing on my reports!! 😉

I have 4 or 5 closed/positive CC accounts falling off next year. This will hurt as I have a 6 year span of 0 accounts reporting after that. I just lost one this month but was gearing up for a spree after letting monthly spends report and got a 20 point gain on EQ. I have no idea what losing the account actually cost me.

My AAoA is about to plummet

I have LOTS of accounts like this... it's how I manage to maintain a 4.4 year AAoA on Experian!!

When those accounts age off its gonna hurt bad! I had 3 positive accounts/closed/never late from 1990, they aged off last November, my EX score dropped 33+ points.... I'm STILL trying to get those points back.

If you are using windows click the windows button either on keyboard or bottom left of screen... Type Snip and it will bring up the snipping tool and use that.. Will make your life a heck of alot easier

I dont think Ill drop too much actually.. Ill still have my BK showing in PR, and thats like the worse thing possible, so my score will already be lower anyways by the time these accts fall off. I hoping not too much of a dip

I know the feeling... I have a mortgage account that will stop reporting in 18 months, and then my only remaining installment loans (two PIF student loans) will age off in less than a year after that. I've just not had the need to get an installment loan since then, but 'lack of installment accounts' always shows as a negative when I check my FICO scores.

When folks here ask about the impact of closing a card/account, they are routinely told that it will stick around for FICO purposes for 10 years, which is true. What we should also mention is that 10 years will come and go before you know it!

Boy, that's the truth! After reading pizza's post I checked all my reports. The next couple of years I will have valued accounts falling off. It just makes me happy that I have all these new accounts this year that will age before that happens. I knew this was inevitable because you cannot have credit cards without permission with a Chapter 13. Once the bankruptcy fell off my reports in May I began adding accounts keeping in mind that my old accounts life span was limited.

I'm lucky to benefit from a Cap One account that is around 15 years now, started at $500 and was dormant for about 8 years (account was open but they didn't issue a card) before re-opening a couple of years ago.

Good thing is, by the time that account ages off Pizza, your other accounts will have sufficient age to carry your score.
