those curious of NFCU CLIs

if you're worried about a HP with doing it online and getting the 3-5 day message, here's a work around that will tell you up front if you're qualified. i have noticed this has been accurate twice now

call NFCU, ask to speak to the credit card services department. once there say "am i at my maximum credit limit exposure with NFCU based on current income and credit profile" and they will tell you what you're eligible for with each card. i asked this a month or two ago with my cashReward when i was at $5k and she said i was eligible for $7,500 and asked again tonight (i knew i was close because i got a CLI on my cashRewards last week and an approval for another card) and he said i was currently maxed.

note: idk if this works for the LOC but i doubt it.

i like them overall. started out with an auto loan with them in 2013. i went to refinance mine with them last night (i have some severe negative equity lol) and they approved me but kinda pissed me off with the rate. so no thanks on that one. maybe in a year or two
