Cap 1 CLI question?

I have 2 Cap 1 Quicksilver accounts that will be a year old in Jan. Both had a SL $300, Luv $500 more at 3 months, and another $500 with credit steps. I started rebuilding with those 2 cards and a Nordstrom card. My scores were 550ish... fast forward almost a year and I have a dozen cards including Discover , Chase, Barclays. Scores in the mid 700's. My Question is do I have to wait until the end of Jan for another CLI? I've considered apping a Venture/ QS visa, but I feel like I need some time with my recent accounts before I app again. Anyone get a CLI with Cap One after credit steps, but before 1 year?

You should be able to request a CLI anytime after 6 months from the last successful CLI. Any earlier would require a manual review, which would only be an option through their EO. Will January be 6 months after your Credit Steps CLI?

As for other Cap One cards, you could try their pre-qual and see what they offer you.

Yes Jan. will be 6 months after my credit steps. I can't get any pre-quals or SCT to work after a fraud alert was placed when I had a collection removed. I contacted all 3 CA's to remove, and opted back in. But still no go... I was just approved for Chase Disney $9000, no verification, so that leads me to believe the fraud alerts are lifted. I'm nervous about apping Cap One until I'm positive the fraud alerts are lifted. I've read horror stories about their verification.

No horror stories. Just that. Stories. I was verified with cap one after i got my venture, They just asked if it was me that applied and said boom approved. As stated. Yes 6 months from your last Cli. and every 6 months after. that is just how they roll. Good you got other lenders. You will learn the quirks of each one and then in time you will know exactly what is going on. if you want any more increases. I have imposed a cap on all credit limits at the moment. Self imposed. Don't need more that what i have now. Already close to 3 times my annual income.
