      <description>&lt;P&gt;DH has a Barclay's Rewards Card, 0% for 12 months.&amp;nbsp; Almost at the end of the 12 months (February), will be a zero balance at that time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;He applied for a Barclay's (Frontier) Card and was declined.&amp;nbsp; Reason:&amp;nbsp; Sufficient credit with Barclay's.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Should he 'cancel' the Barclay's card after the balance is paid off and apply again with Frontier?&amp;nbsp; Just looking for a free trip to Utah.&amp;nbsp; Thank you!!!!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>no. no reason to do that. it appears they don't think you've been with barclays long enough so cancelling it wouldn't help.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You can call the back door # and ask them to PC part of the existing CL on the Rewards card to the new card that you want. That has worked for me in the past.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
