Wow. I'll have to keep a watch on mine to see if theres a nice surprise like that since my statement cuts again soon.

I wonder what determines it? Personally even though it's a hidden TL i not even gone anywhere near 50% utility on either card.

This forum has done wonders on convincing me to clamp tight when it comes to that.

OH BOY after seeing this I went on and YUP I have a -95.00 AF adjustment....I paid my AF last week and on 11/5 they put in a credit....hope they are not thinking of closing it...I do not use that much, just enough.....hummmmmmmmmm

Just checked BOTH my Diner's Club cards. The statements won't cut for a few more days yet and the annual fees are already posted ahead of the statement cut so just wondering how they'll go about this.

Loving the fact that they may just waive them after payments and apply the credit. Woohoo if they do

Keep watch then and report back when you do. Looks like (according to odd_dog) their crediting back after payments. Just how long that takes remains to be measured yet but doesn't seem to take too very long to show up.

yup here it is......very strange....

EDIT NOTE....the AF adjustment was NOT on the statement when I paid the AF. I noticed that today when I looked again on line, so the 10/30 adjustment was not there when I paid on the 2nd.....really weird....

Awesome. It's gonna really make for extra confidence with those who were able to get in with Diner's Club about this same time last year on the new consumer cards. Glad now that i went for both cards and not just the one should this hold true.

All this bears watching now because it looks to either be some grand loosening due to high success rates (aka profits) on the initial launch of those high end consumer cards or else they intend to maybe close that program at some point altogether. Very strange indeed.. I doubt they would be that good hearted to waive the AF's.. I could be wrong.. either a system glitch (most likely) or possible closure of consumer accounts (unlikely?)...

See I am going with the "glitch" thing because if they were giving out AF credits WHY not email us or put in the statement that they were doing so....this is so hap-hazard I really think it is a computer mistake.....

CC I don't think they are closing the consumer accounts as my online account says I still have 40K CL....would think it would say 0 if closure, BUT then again that might "show up" in a few days like my credit did.....

Not saying they are closing them.. Just strange they are refunding everyones AF.. My guess is it is a computer/programming glitch as the AF is a big portion of their profits and what supports the card. Just saying it is either a system glitch or closing the consumer cards (which is very doubtful IMO). I am leaning towards a programming error. Wish you all the best of luck and hopefully they are being very kinda for the holidays!

just on this post it does not seem consistent that everyone is getting the AF credited....some posters have said they did not get a credit....that is what makes me think this is some computer glitch....I am almost temped to call in and find out......

Personally i lean toward those cards are proven to have been profitable for them in this first year although i don't have the time to do research on it so can't point to any references that might suggest it. I don't think any computer error is involved at all becuase if it is it would be the very first one that i experienced since day one.

At any rate let's just be happy and grateful that these accounts have been selected for AF refunds this time around
