If I am an authorized user on my husbands Cap1 accounts and I decide to remove myself will that hurt my score? I don't want my credit score to be in his hands! Thanks.

Removing a card can either increase or decrease ultilization ratio and average age of account, so there is really no way to tell.

In general, if the card is much older than your cards, has high limit, and is only utilized a small fraction of the credit limit, then letting it stay helps your scores. And vice versa, if the card is not really older than your cards, has low limit, or is ultilized near max then removing it can help your scores.
