I am looking for a simple, no rewards card

So thing about me is I can justify exorbitant purchase and not pay it off if I have rewards not sure why, but that's how I operate.

I am looking pretty soon to get amother simple card. Right now:
Boa bbr 140/3000
Chase Slate 300/1000
Chase Freedom 1000/7000
Pers LOC 1200/2500
Kay 200/7400
2 inquiries last 6 months. 3 overall.
AAOA is about 4 years
Fico all currently at about 680-690

Any word on some good simple cards out there? I was maybe going to try for usbank platinum or wells platinum. I heard you need very excellent credit for wells though? And of course 0% offers are always a plus

Perhaps you might want to consider the Barclay Ring MC? Across-the-board 8% V APR for purchases, BT, and cash advances. Also no BT fee and only a $3 charge per cash advance.

security service FCU has one at 6.49% but based on your limits i guess your scores are 680-710?

Quicksilver! They offer few months 0% APR and with no AF you if don't like the reward points that you get, you can donate it. They got button for that

Yes. Trying to think of others. My credit union cards and Barclay Ring are the only cards that come to mind.

I 2nd Musiclover...I would look at CU or Ring, and frankly CU first for sooooo many reasons, primarily being that Barclays can be a fickle lender (I've had no issues but the forum is full of Barclays AA stories)

Citi Simplicity! Almost a 2 year 0% APR period, and once it runs out Citi is great with APR reductions

If you want low rates go to your local credit union. They tend to offer higher limits than ring for scores like yours.

Nasa would be good but not as low of a rate.

IMHO the best simple card out there by far is the Barclays Ring card. Low interest, low fees.

With a single APR after the promo, I'd say go for it. You can wait until this prequal shows a lower single rate, or you can just go for this, and after the 21 month 0% finishes, ask for an APR reduction. Your credit will be nearly two years older then, and you'll likely get the reduction. The thing about waiting for a better rate to show on the prequal now, it doesn't matter what that rate is for nearly two years, so what's the point of gaming the "after rate" now?

I'd also consider using a HP to ask BofA to raise the BBR limit. That card should consistently get BT offers, and having a larger limit there will go well if you need to transfer a balance from another bank, like Citi Simplicity.

That's generally speaking. The CC the OP is considering has a high APR and only 21 months 0% promo. There are rewards CC out there where he would get about the same (18 month promo), so why not go for the rewards?
