Before you say bye bye to them, get another major card. Having too few card to too small CL might prevent you from getting better cards with better CL.

I wouldn't close the card simply because you cannot get an increase or PC out of them. They have been very stingy with me as well. After my credit steps ended on both cards, I was increased to $750. I plan to combine both cards in January after my 6 month increase this month. Crappy limits but they were the start to my rebuild. You stated you cant can't get another card with them. Did you apply for another product with them? It usually tells you in the disclosure how many cards you can have prior to applying. Always check for prequal as well. What does the rest of your profile look like other than scores?

Running a ton through my card and paying on it every few days. I think it makes a big difference because they see that you are on top of things. I started doing that with my secured platinum after having it and carrying a balance almost every month since 2012. Then three months later, I apped for the regular platinum and got approved at the same limit as my secured card. Since mid October, I have run a ton of money through that thing. A week ago I asked on chat and they let me PC my Platinum to a Quicksilver. So they must be liking the spending and paying off I'm doing I'm assuming. I also only let my statement cut with 3% utlization. Also, I set myself up on auto-pay as well because someone on one of the threads said she did that and got a credit limit increase about a month later. All of these are YMMV situations. But it's about maximizing your chances. Or that is what it's about for me because I'm a bit obsessed. I just want to feel like I'm doing all I can to get closer to my goal.

Make a payment once a week. Not every other day. From what you've told us your scores are improving. When I started my rebuild March of this year all I had was a $500 NFCU secured card, $1000 NFCU cash rewards, $300 Capital One PC, and $500 Capital One QS1. Scores have gone from 500s to 700s in less than 9 months and I have over $100K total credit. Just be patient.
