In a previous thread I talked about my plans for 2016 and that I want to get the NFCU GoRewards (3% Restaurants), NFCU CLOC (just because), and USAA Cashback Rewards Plus AMEX cards. Both NFCU and USAA pull EQ in my area and currently I have 11 INQs there. Originally planned to wait until March when 2 INQs fall off and app for the GoRewards and CLOC and then wait 6 months or so to app for the Rewards Plus AMEX.

The 0% APR for BTs has me rethinking. Perhaps do the app for GoRewards in Jan, in Jul go for USAA, and in the Fall get the NFCU CLOC. Either way by the end of the year I would be at 6 INQs on EQ, 1 on EX, and 2 on TU. I also thought about the Chase AARP for 3% on Restaurants which has 10 INQs currently, but I'm not sure how INQ sensitive they are for co-branded cards?

Scores are 803 EQ, 809 EX, and 800 TU. Just app'd for the Huntington Voice in Nov.

Really would like to hear folks thoughts on this. If it came down to either the GoRewards or the AARP think I would go with the GoRewards because I believe I would get a higher SL. Maybe I should just shut up and go sit in the corner and color. Thanks in advance.

I think you are overly-cautious. You should have no problems getting the cards listed. My scores are nowhere near yours and they are handing me cards like candy

Hmmm, I always go with the card I think that is the most difficult first. Your high scores means your AAOA is over 5yrs, uti% is very low. Those are all recipes for approvals IMO. Heck you probably get all of them and than some

Since the Go rewards and AARP are similar. Get the Go rewards after USAA. NFCU doesn't seem sensitive to new accounts or inqs. Go rewards will net the largest SL IMHO. With your scores you're golden.
