It went from 10.24 % to 8.24% now ,,, everything is possible with Amex. Soon I will have less APR than Barclays Ring !!!

Just lower my SPG from 15.99(org 17.24) to 13.24.

No go on BCE, stay at 12.74(org 13.99), state it is one of the lowest APR available on BCE

It a moot point, who dare to carry balance on Amex anyway?

They kept telling me the same thing since October when I hit 9%, that I had best rate possible for this card.

i was even able to get my rate lowered on a card with 0% on it and didn't even have the card yet. ...lol

that's exciting. I have a 0% apr promo right now but I'll definitely ask for a reduction since my BCE apr is in the 18.99%.

Figured I'd give it a shot also.

Delta- 6.24 plus prime was at 11.99 plus prime

BCP- 8.24 plus prime was at 15.24 plus prime.

What! Really? I'd much prefer my ED have 9.5% apr rather than my delta gold.... I think my ED is 17 or something, but they told me I could not lower it until it was out of its promo, as did capital one. I will try again!

I Just chat with two different folks and they both said there is no protocol to do this. Ah well.

I got approved for a Amex card 10/31/15 with 0% for 9 months. 3 days later I got on chat and asked for a apr reduction

and they took me from 17.24% to 15.24% and hadn't even recieved the card yet. Pretty sweet

They won't lower me from 22.99% and my limit is currently over 34k, lol.
