I concur will all of the above. I'd go for it in this instance since it more than doubles your CL. I got the same offer for my V with a 20k CL and I've declined it for weeks now. As creditguy said, there's no real way to know if they're going to increase the offer or how long it will take for them to do so.

Requsted an increase and this what they came back with:

Should I go for it or could it possibly be higher in a few weeks?

I think more than a 100% increase is reasonable on their part, don't see them giving you much more.

You will hear differing opinions. Some will say wait and it will go up, but really there's no way to know. Considering it more than doubles your limit, it's a pretty nice increase. The choice is yours, any advice would be as scientific as a coin toss, good luck with whatever you decide, congrats on the offer though.

I agree with the above two comments. If your original CL was around $10,000 and they yielded a $500 CLI, then it may be worth to wait for a little more wiggle room, but in this instance (IMO) I would take it. Ultimately, it's your choice on growing the card though.

Will vastly lower your utilization and should help your score in the long run.
