I had an old card from 2012 that was recently PC'd to a QS Visa Signature. That card started out with a $500 CL, then through cli's went over $5k and I PC'd it to the present card. That card, thanks to some account combining now sits with a 21k limit. The best news is that not only is my acct number the same, but the card is backdated to when it was first opened, which looks pretty good. I have a nice limit card with some age.

So MTV to Journey to QS VS. APR is 17.99v, but that's a temp limit for the next 6 months, which I negotiated. Regular is what yours is. But I have a 0% BT offer with a 2% fee for 18mos waiting in the wings. I haven't really cared about interest rate because it's not a card I carry a balance on, or if I do, not for very long.

"Back in the day" an upgrade from 'Classic' to 'Gold' required an account number change, as the BIN was different, at least with CitiBank.

It seems now that instead of using the BIN to determine the level of benefits they have it down to an account number level. I feel fortunate to not be the administrator of the database that tracks that, but at the same time it's much more convenient for us as customers since the transition is now seamless.

Enjoy your new benefits!
