      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi ,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; I purchased from walmart.com on 11/26 via the discover deals and did not receive any email confirmaion for the extra cashback . I spoke to CSR who was not able to answer my&amp;nbsp;question . So she transferred the call to her supervisor &amp;nbsp;, who mentioned to me that it will take up to two billing cycles for the extra cash back to be credited .&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the past when i purchased via the discover deals , i used to get the email confirmation with in a week of purchase . Not sure , why i am told to wait for two billing periods&amp;nbsp;this time .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So want to know your recent experiences on discover deals purchase &amp;nbsp;to see if this is a general trend &amp;nbsp;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Mine never seem to get credited properly, but I haven't tried at walmart.com.&amp;nbsp; If I didn't get it the next statement, it was never going to show up on its own.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Instead of waiting and calling I'd just submit a missing cash back claim on the web site.&amp;nbsp; They have a nice form where you put in all the transaction details and you'll get an email back in a couple days saying they've given you the credit.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My last couple from JCP have been slow to receive emails, and now the "we'll let you know in 30 days" of the amount.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;While Discover Deals seems to have the highest percentages most of the time, I'm thinking of switching most of my online spend back to my Freedom card.&amp;nbsp; Quicker, more accurate details, etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just send them a message about missing rewards (selecting rewards option) from their message center thru your online account. I usually do that if my rewards are missing and they credit the rewards.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I always end up getting the proper credit, but sometimes it takes forever, and that's true even after I use the form to investigate an unpaid credit. It's my one frustration with Discover, but they tell me it's the merchants that are slow to report that the transactions were done through DD.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Use them for Sears.com purchases and got those credits immediately, with Walmart.Com took 2 billing cycles and I will never use them again for WM sent SM about thr rewards and demanded explanation for delay was basically told its the way it is.....&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I know they didnt do it and thought it was pretty stupid on their part. As I said in my previous post I wont use them for WM again and if I get the same treatment with a Sears purchase coming up end of the month then I am finished with DD and will use other cards shopping portals where credit is given for my purchases in a timely fashion.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>In my experience if the cash back is delayed, you still receive an email almost immediately. I bought an iPhone through DD and the next day I received an email confirming the transaction. It did say though that they need to verify the purchase with Apple and that I will hear back in 30 days. Almost exactly 30 days later I received another email confirming that the purchase is eligible for DD cash back and the cash back appeared on the next statement.</description>

I pretty much have to keep a text file with the date, time, cash back percentage, amount of purchase and purchase location just to make sure I get everything. Getting 10% back through DD instead of 5% through Ebates or someplace is only better if you're sure you're actually getting everything.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If they improved their tracking so that you could tell what was going on with all of your DD purchases, it would be so very much better!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It's having to worry about whether your DD purchase was ever properly credited and your reward will ever be paid that makes it so frustrating.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Don't forget that if you used a coupon code or other deal then DD doesn't apply. &amp;nbsp;Also there are category restrictions. &amp;nbsp;I used mine for some tiny $5 purchase around black Friday and I got the initial 'you've used it' e-mail and also the 2nd email detailing the amount of cash back earned and that I should see it next month.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
