I pretty much check the pre qualified site every week with Capital One. I currently have the Venture One, two no AF Quicksilvers. It always says here are are suggestions rather than congratulations you're pre-qualified. Today I got the congratulations on the venture pre qualified. I know capital One is pretty reliable although nothing is 100%. Has anyone ever gotten the denial after being pre qualified? I'm really excited and would love to get the card I'm just nervous to take the three pulls. I've been wanting this card.

What is the minimum SL? $5000 or $3000?
I don't want my offer to disappear either. Decisions decisions. TU score 673, Experian 652, Equifax 652. All 3 will go up a bit more once Barclay reports my Utilization, hopefully tomorrow.

Theres always a possibility of denial, and Ive seen it a few times, but usually on the cap1 site, if it says preapproved, and gives you a set APR, NOT a range, and actually says, "congratulations", not just a "we found a few cards", then its usually a done deal.

SL for Venture is $5k...up to you to try, you will get 2-3 HP's for it.

If you get the "well let you know" message, lately that has been verification. They are starting to do that now as well. Set APR is usually a thumbs up.

If there's anything that could boost your credit score in the next month or so (CLI, reduction in UTI, etc.), I'd hold off. I was offered 17.99APR in November, and I paid down my balances and got CLI. By late December, my offer was 12.99APR on the Venture and Quicksilver, and 11.99APR on the VentureOne.
