had it 6 months today, had credit steps at 3 months now 1100 had 6 months think i should call?

I just got one. Thought about calling them and then got busy with work. Few days later it showed up on my account.

Called the back door number and tried to get CLIs for both of my cap-one cards.

Got 300 on one card and no CLI for the other, though they moved me to a 9.9 fixed APR.

Got my card in July, platinum $39 AF 1k CL. called in October got a CLI from $1k to $1500. Applied mid October for the No Hassle rewards, got a $750 CL. Called again at activation, and merged the accounts:

No Hassle rewards

$0 AF

$2,250 CL

I got my card back in Jan. I got the cli from credit steps in April, from $500 to $750. I havent heard anything since. Ill try to call tomorrow for CLI to at least 1k

I've only had soft inq from Cap1 on CLIs, etc. Never a hard pull.

I called the bd number for one. Couldn't get one instantly, she said she had to put in a request for an increase. She the request would take a few days, she said I would get a letter with the results, I think that was denial. Anyone had this experience before?

Mine have been instant approvals. I think the denials have been half and half, but usually they can tell me at the time of the call one way or the other whether I can get a CLI

Went online today, got $500 cli. Started at $300 in July now at $1100. Don't know if was my request or credit steps. Probably credit steps since my 4th statement cut also. although the letter promised credit steps on the 5th statement. If they want to give me another boost next month I'll take it! lol.
