im trying to get my gf to apply for a new card. i want to use sct cause i want her to get a soft pull. but im not looking for a store card but a all around card any info thanks.

Best opportunity for that is the Sportsman Guide Visa. However, as with any application she should be prepared for the possibility of an HP.

I only know of one. That would be a CC from NASA FCU. To join it is a soft pull on EX. After being accepted as a member. App for one of the cards. They give out nice SL's as well. It is open enrollment. So you don't have to be a employee.

Sportsman visa and overtons MasterCard were soft pulls for me. But like Irish said, a hard pull can happen so you really can't guarantee it. But those 2 cards have yielded good no pull success from a lot of people

Agree. IME, when I had the pre-approved (SCT) pop-up for the Sportsman Guide Visa, it ended up as HP. But, I expected it since there were mixed reports on the outcome.

I got Sportsman's Guide & Overton's via SCT with no HP. I also got Redroof & Fuel Rewards and those did result in EQ HPs. Always expect that there will be an HP and you'll be pleasantly surprised if none show up.
