Best points redemption card

I am looking for the best card to redeem points for travel with. I am currently using a chase card which is 1 point for every dollar spent and then I transfer them to my Palladium and get 1.5 per point redemption rate on UR website. I run over 250k through it (chase Ink) but I am wondering if there is a better card. I redeem the points for airfare but with different carriers. Im ok with an annual fee. Any advice would be great. Thanks

Only 1.5% redemption its ok but not the best and why are you using UR website and not transfering directly to FF programs?

The Pointguy's January evaluation of points card has the UR point still valued the highest at 2.1 cents/point (along with Diner's Club which you can't apply for), so there really isn't any other card/point system that is better. You certainly can combine other Chase cards like the Freedom and CSP along with the Ink to maximize your points earned per dollar spent (up to 5 points/dollar with Freedom and Ink) but overall the UR points program is really the best out there assuming that their travel partners are those that you use. I don't think that actually redeeming the point thru the UR portal is the best option as compared to transferring the points directly to airline mileage programs.

Thanks for your reply, but I have no idea about FF sites. I thought I was getting a great deal by getting $3750 in travel dollars for spending $250k. Thanks

If you fly arent you signed up for the airlines mileage programs liked United's? That where you should be transferring your points-to airlines mileage programs. That 250K points is well worth $5K and more especially if you want to travel internationally in business/first class.

Figure out what airline you use the most and look into setting up and account with that airline and transfer points when booking a flight ...don't transfer unless your sure you'll book the flight

UR points as Irish stated have the most value out there behind SPG and it may be nerfed in the near future ....jury still out on that one

I did forget about the SPG. They're just so hard to accumulate and like you said, soon to be possibly nerfed

That was my biggest turn off .....but worth their weight in gold points wise
