WAMU & FREE CREDIT SCORE

DOES ANYONE HAVE THIS CARD. I JUST GOT IT IN AUGUST '07, AND GOT MY SCORE, BUT IT HASN'T UPDATED SINCE THEN....IS THE SCORE SUPPOSED TO UPDATE MONTHLY AND DOES YOUR CREDIT SNAP SHOT ACTUALLY SHOW...

Wamu does show your PFICO score. It might be 1-3 months behind. Eventually you will start getting scores, but don't think they will be up to date current. But even if they are 1 month behind that's cool. It's free. Wamu scores are "Credit Card" enhanced FICO scores. They tend to run a bit higher than FICO Classic scores. But indeed they are real.

I signed up earlier this year, and I believe it took a couple months before there was any credit snapshot. It definitely gave me my score before it gave me the snapshot.

There was a three month period this summer when the score didn't update at all, but other than that it has been updated every month. The most recent update is September for me (and it was 800!).

lovedone, I have a WaMu card, and the same goes for me. They duplicated August's TU score for Sept. also. And I know good and well they are different, as I pulled CR's in September. They should update(on WaMu's website) around Oct. 17 or 18. Cant wait to see what it is. Hope that helps

ok I aplied for wamu on the 27 last , I called the next day they said terms and card would be sent separately. Well today I recived the card and mastercard benefits guide.

anyway I setup my online acess, I don't have credit snapshot or Why my score is what it is.

but it says my TU as 09/07 is 751 which is the same score as when I bought my EQ score fro myfico 9/19 , which makes sense to me cause expect for a $2000 installment opened in 2002 paid of in 2004 , my credit file IS credit cards.

I like WaMu...generally speaking. I started out with a Providian Platinum Visa 7 years ago, and was given generous credit limit increases. THEN, WaMu bought out Providian, and when they converted me, as WuMu had apparently much stricter scoring criteria, they dropped my cl from $3,200 down to $1,320. Talk about upset. I ALMOST closed the acct. But I'm glad I didn't.

I have the WAMU Platinum Mastercard and the Transunion score they provide is correct. I checked my FICO scores thru the credit bureaus and it is correct. The only thing is, you get the current month's score toward the end of the month.

For instance, my statement still shows September's score. October's score will probably not show up until about the 25th or so of this month.

well I not impressed with wamu reps

When I called to Activate the rep was so obnoxious trying to sell me credit protection , even after I said " Don't try to sell me anything,I'm not buying" I hung up on her.

So I call all my CCs when I get them , tell them I want a due date that will give CLOSING date of the 1st.

all my other cards accommodated me.

Card Advertised Grace Period Due Date for 1st closing

Chase 20 days 26th

Captial 1 25 days 25th

Discover 25 days 31th

I opened my Wamu account in August 07 also. It showed my TU score immediately, and it matched my FICO score. However, it hasn't updated yet. They also haven't reported my account to any of the CRA's yet. How long should that take? I have paid 2 bills already.

This is weird. Everyone seems to have a TU score from them. Even they adverstise with TU. For some reason, my score is pulled from Experian. Is this OK? Should I be concerned?

Mine reported within a month. My scores haven't updated since I opened the account...I guess we just have to wait and see what happens.

I know mine show Experian's also. Do you have a visa or mastercard? maybe that's the difference...I have a visa.

Getting that cash back rewards was such a HASSLE on my part. I was initially told I would be getting it (I did not), so I had to go through customer service and escalate to the branch manager of my local bank to finally get it put on my account even though I was originally "ineligible." It's 1% of total purchase price.

for first they use the one t at the time of your application, so I have a feeling your score will update when they conduct their "periodic reviews" so you get what they pull.
