Quicksilver requested CLI after 3 months

Hi all, I just requested a CLi and received this message. Is this a denial? The card currently has zero balance and $5k CL. I have used it sparingly mainly for Uber and PIF.

Sadly it's a denial, I have no idea why they can't just say no but they don't

no its not always a deniel It told me the same thing yesterday and today I got a $2000 CLI

it has to be exactly 6 months between CLI request or cap one will deny you but they did tell me the 2 to 3 day document thing its always been a deniel but this time they approved my CLI

Beavis is correct. I had the same letter and my DW had the same letter show up in our documents. It can mean increase coming.

99% of time that is a denial with rare exceptions. Their computer already has a CLI in their system if you are eligable they aren't softing your right there you either get it or don't get it unless a human someone comes in the picture which obviously they do for the very few lucky ones

Like I just asked them to do today. I've read CLI after 2 mos and CLI after 3. My scores are up significantly since approval, they've AR soft pulled me every month. Didn't get it after 2, decided to wait til 3, didn't get it after 3, so I asked for some help.

I've had plenty of usage. But we shall see. I don't necessarily need the addtl CL, but if I don't get it, they won't be my every day spenders any longer.

Yep this is my thought pattern as well.. The ones with the biggest CL's get the most love usually although they usually have the best benefits in my case of cards and CL's.

Everytime I've received that message it was a juicy denial. And I agree with the other poster, I wish they'd just say no and move on.

I know I dont use mine as much as other cards because my credit limit is so low. All my other cards have a minimum of three times the limit as my capital one cards. Why would a person bother? I started out using them way more than say my Discover card and Discover raised my limits without me asking twice since August and I've had the Cap 1 cards since last March and the limit is lower than I started on Discover. If they want me to use the card, they have to reward me with increases as my other cards do,

If it is a denial at least Cap One will give you their reason why and what you should do before you request the next one. It's SP so that's not a problem.
