Questions about a small app spree

Greetings.

I would like to turn my Slate card (zero balance) into a Freedom and CSP and I'm not 100% sure how to go about the process. I would aldo like to pick up a Citi Double Cash card.

Currently, Chase is not showing me any preapproved offers. Citi is, for the Double Cash at 13.24% APR.

My scores at this point:

EQ: 711 (myFico)

TR: 717 (myFico)

EX: 746 (myFico), 733 (Chase Slate - assuming this is what they are using)

Utilization is around 20%

Which order should I app for these in? I'm not sure if I am under the 5 accounts in 2 years for CSP (do Comenity/Synchrony accounts count?). I want to get these apps out of the way as my wife and I will be applying for a mortgage next year. It would be ideal if I could PC the Slate card, but the limit is around $2k, so I would want to try for a balance increase. If that resulted in a hard pull, could I app for Freedom and CSP at the same time, then roll my Slate into the Freedom? Should I do Citi last?

I'd be aware of citi preapproval. They're not always rock solid but if you don't have many INQs or new accounts then you should be fine. As for Chase, I cold app'd for freedom and was approved. Not saying everyone should but if you think your profile supports it then proceed however you'd like.

If it were me I would apply for CSP then DC then covert the Slate into Freedom.
