I just received a preapproval in the mail for a credit card (MasterCard) from this bank. The terms were as follows: Up to $1,500 credit line, $75 annual fee & 29.9% interest. Needless to say I did not accept this offer at all. As a matter of fact I have never even heard of this bank anyway. Has anyone else heard of or has experience with them?

Have them... hate them... didn't know they were sub-prime when I applied and should have cancelled when I saw the credit limit. Talked to them and they said they would raise it after 6 months -- didn't happen even though I paid religously. Oh, and you are limited to 2 payments per month so even if you have such a low limit and want to "free up some air", you can't just keep paying it off throughout the month like Cap1.

Oh wow ... Now that is crazy to limit how many times you can pay! Sooo glad I inquired about them before even considering their offer. You have to get rid of them as soon as you can because there are much better cards out there.
