How soon should i wait before asking a CLI from BofA? is it the normal 6 months?

Usually BofA accounts will be eligible to apply for CLI's at the 3 month mark, you'll know because the link "ask for credit limit increase" appears in the card details in your online account.

I waited 6 months and when I requested a CLI it was a TU HP.

If you request a CLI it will be a TU HP. So wait for the right time and ask for a big CLI.

If they can see that you have other cards with big limits and you use their card, they may match the limit. If you request online and you think is not enough, call the backdoor number and ask for more, ask them to use the same HP, you have up to 30 days after the first pull for them to use the same.

I was able to go from 2 - 6 (online) - 7 (call) - 10 (guess they did a review after my call) with same HP. I asked for 15k to match 2 other cards I have (ED and Venture).

I think I got my first CLI @ 2 or 3 months, but the norm is every 6 months.

No experience with initial CLIs but it's definitely six months between requests.

how'd you get one in 2 or 3 months, so fast? i got a new bofa card im going to run 4-6k a month to start, its 1k limit hope they dont get scared seeing a near max limit every other few days lol
