Hello, I was wondering what store credit card I have a high chance of getting approved for if I have bad credit?

How bad is your credit? Do you just want to get a card to have something reporting?

The Firestone card is one of the easiest. If you get declined for it, you should stop applying.

Kohl's is Capital One and they are fairly easy.

What are your scores? How many baddies and what type? (collection, charge off, repo, public record, tax lien)

You might be better off getting a secured card.

Fingerhut is a store card for bad credit. It's overpriced stuff but lets you get some positive reporting on your reports.

Agree with the idea of a secured card or two. If you get a couple of them going, you can qualify for a better store card or two down the road.

Scores are 468 Equifax, 450 Transunion, and 460 Experian.

I had to file for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy really recently and was thinking this was the best way to get my credit back up again.

Do not apply for unsecured credit. You will get denied and hurt your scores more.

Can you post what accounts you have now, status, collections, other bad stuff?

You can get an OpenSky secured card ($200 minimum) and they don't check credit.

Read the thread "24 months to 700" in the bankruptcy section.

Good news is you can probably get those scores up to 620 in very short order if you follow the steps. 680 a year later. 700 sometime down the road.

The lower your scores the easier it is to blast them up. Especially if you have no more debt after the BK.
