Macys credit reporting UPDATE!!

For what it is worth, I spoke to a supervisor today at Macys and he shared that Macys stopped reporting to the bureau in August due to a system upgrade. He indicated that they resumed credit bureau reporting on December 28th. My statement cuts in a couple of days, so we will see.

Thank you for this information. This sounds pretty legit to me. My statement cuts on the 16th. I'll update your thread if I see anything!

As a data point, my last statement date was Dec. 29, and Macy's has not reported for me. This account was opened in September, and has yet to show up on any reports.

My latest statement cur on the 7th, no update, I had to call into their EO to have them update it a few months ago, kinda ridic..

Wow, and the supervisor sounded so sincere, lol! So our Macys accounts are a hidden trade line.

Weirdly enough it reported the day before my current statement's due date, so it's not reporting on the statement date. My account was opened October 11th if that helps anyone!

I opened my account early October, nothing yet. My new statement cut two days ago. I'm keeping a lookout for it to post in the next couple of days.

Mine still hasn't updated, still showing my $300 credit limit from August My current credit limit is $4700. My statement closed on January 14 2016.

With mine they did not wait for january statement cut off, since they were already behind, they probably started updating them right away, in batches, so expect for yours to hit the cra's soon. So far it showed up on my EQ only, which is weird because usually EX is the fastest to update, then a few days later EQ, then TU way behind.

I opened my account 10-23-15, It reported today for the first time today that it was opened in October.

My statement cuts Friday, I wonder if they will update again after the statement cuts and stay current

Macy's finally updated me. At least on my Equifax report. Still waiting on EX and TU as far as I know. But at least something finally happened!

Account opened Oct 3rd, latest statement generated Jan 15, Equifax reported today, January 27th. It's an odd day to report but the recent bump in my CL from 4K to 14K reported, so that's great!
