Got a pre-qualified letter for one in the mail today. Think I can get accepted for it? My score is nearing 700's now on TU, EX and FICO

Very likely. Keep in mind they're really stingy with SL's.

They threw $500 at me and I closed it the same day.

The good news is this product only pulled EQ for me, not all 3.

Not bad. Even though I don't plan on buying a new car for a while it'll be nice to have those points for when I do need a new one

If I put the pre-qualification code in and don't submit the application will it still do a credit pull? Will Capital One still count it has one of the 2 applications allowed within a 30 day timeframe?

Nope. No pull until you get to the end and hit submit. Since it is co-branded pretty sure it doesn't fall into that category as far as how many cards in a 30 day period but don't quote me.

I wouldn't touch this card. You're locked into GM and forced to buy new. If you don't, the points are worthless. There are other places I'd rather go for the rewards.

The card is CRAP ! My wife has had one for a year...Great credit...No CLI's. Customer service is crap too ! Not even owned by Cap1 anymore....

The Sony Playstation Rewards card looks good. 3x points fastfood, phone bill. But I also like the Sony Rewards card because I use Netflix, download itunes, buy Sony stuff. Hard decision to make

Also since I still live with my parents and they help pay my credit card bills since I let them use my cards I can include their income correct? My Dad makes $2k every 2 weeks

They gave me a starting limit of $2,000. TBH even if you don't use it much it is one of the few cards that has no Annual fee and is a World Elite Mastercard out there that you can get except for cards that can become them. This card is automaticaly one of them and offers basically 5% Cash back if your looking to buy or lease a car and you know you want a GM brand model be it from chevy , GM or otherwise. The website is worse than Chase's website and that is pretty bad as well but the rewards is pretty good if your in the market of a car ever.

It is a card thats branded for a particular brand... Same with store cards. Of course your interested in that brand if your'e thinking of Applying. I wouldn't apply for the AA card from Citi if I fly United would I? or if I use Hotwire or etc?

Eh The only reason why I like my playstation card is because I don't get charged sales tax on PSN in my state. Otherwise I would barely use it.

The card is still done by Cap 1... I also don't see how thats a bad thing though lol. I am not a huge fan of Cap 1 anyways and the only 2 card I have from them is the GM and Playstation card. They just declined me for the one silver card with my scores... But oh well just wasted 3 inqs

When I cold-apped recently a while back, I was approved for a $5k starting limit. Alas, the only caveat was that the APR was quite a bit higher than I would have ideally liked.
