Recently I was approved for a CLI from $2500 to $4500 on my QS card. Now this card was originally just a Platinum card that was product changed to a Quicksilver. What I want to know is this ... Since the limit has been increased nicely, could I product change this again to a Venture card and would it remain a MasterCard or could it be changed to a Visa as well?

Should remain a MC. It's my understanding that a MC can never be converted to a visa or vice versa. And I would think you could PC again to venture, but it might be more difficult and may not be available right away.

I called and spoke with the CSR and unfortunately they didn't have a offer for me to upgrade at this time but she did give the promotion of a lower APR for 7 months. So although I wasn't able to product change it, it was still a successful attempt that benefited in another way. Oh well maybe down the road I'll be able to upgrade to Venture.

Last month i was able to PC my (3 month old) platinum Mastercard to a Quicksilver (no AF), yesterday thru chat as well i was offered to PC my (1 year old 4000 limit) Quicksilver one to a Quicksilver or a Venture one... I chose Venture One.So i say go and check with chat you never know im prove that you dont have to wait that long to get a PC to Venture one at least.

Best of luck!

I just successfully via an online chat with Capital One did a product change to the Quicksilver Visa Signature. I had the Platinum credit card open for about 6 months before the product change with a credit line of $5,500. My new Quicksilver will have no annual fee, 17.9% APR, and a $5,500 credit line...I'm so excited for my new card to arrive.
