    <description>They're not desperate. That's standard practice. Each CCC has their own policies re inactive CCs. Some will close as early as six months, and some will close inactive CCs after two years. It all depends on the company. I wouldn't SD ANY card for six months!</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just an FYI&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I found out today that WAMU closed my cc account (after sending me the new card to activate it)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Apparently (according to the CSR), if you haven't used your card in 6 months, the account is automatically closed and they will not re-open it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Guess they're really desparate now.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
