i got approved for the venture and QS on 02/10/2016 and i receive the QS first?! come on! how does that make sense lol. i need to meet some spend!

In the same boat. I figured I was not going to over spend just for 100 cash back. Just glad to get the cards and be done with it. Ill get them with the regular cash back anyway. Ill still get you my pretty. LOL

Might be more of a post office issue than a Cap1 issue. My local post office here has very iffy reliability, especially if there is a holiday.

doubt postal issue due to them needing to send out the "welcome packet" but i haven't gotten that either

Seems to be the normal batch and processing timeframe for their cards. As of yesterday it was only 7 BDs since you were approved. Albeit, the holiday may have pushed things out, you'll get it soon enough. If for any reason you find yourself in a pickle, you call them and they can likely extend the timeframe by a bit - they're flexible. Patience grasshopper, patience!

Welcome to the club. I got an email on the 12th saying they mailed my Venture. Got an email this past Thursday saying it's been delivered now activate it. Only, I have not received it. I was supposed to have foundation repair done yesterday to the tune of $5600. I was gonna use the Venture for that and get the spend for the bonus taken care of. Luckily, the foundation repair people rescheduled. Still haven't got the card yet.
