Modells mvp visa...Anyone got a cli yet

i was approved for the modells mvp visa through the sct back in August.

Just wondering when would be the best time to ask for the cli. I have read that with most comenity backed visa/mc that at about the 4 month mark usually works.

Has anyone gotten any increases with this card and if so, would you post how much and how long you had the card.

I got my Modell MVP visa card July 3 with a starting limit of 2K. I have used monthly and paid an average of 300 to 400 per month and paid in full. I requested a CLI last week and got a decline. My letter stated that it was recently opened and they would like to see more activity. Its paid off and in the sock drawer it goes. Kinda regret opening the account now, but at the time I was at the tail end of rebuilding and thought it could be a good card it was surely easy to get. I will try in January for a CLI when it hits 6 months, if nothing, I will close it. Good luck with your card.

Thanks Roseyk. Guess I'll probably do the same, just use it here and there and hopefully after the first of the year I'll see what happens.

It's backed by comentiy so it generally, their majors (VS/MC) are eligible for increases every 4 - 6 months. Personally, I receive a CLI on my comenity Visa's/MC's every 4 months.

Was 6 months for my first CLI on this card.
I just closed this account a few days ago.
