Cap1 credit line increase!!

Woke up today and my credit line is now $5,300 instead of $1,300 with a $4,100 cash advance line. Is there anyway I can get rid of the cash advance line and turn it into credit for my other Cap1 card?

You can definitely decrease the cash advance line but I'm almost 99% sure you can't turn your cash advance line into credit.

or if I can increase the limit on the other one because it's only $500 right now and I got it in January

Well put in a CLI request on your account. It's a SP and it will not hurt your score. If it was opened in January you'll probably have to wait until June when it hits 6 months. Are you enrolled in credit steps with the account?

yeah my other card I got last April, requested in June for a CLI and was approved for $800

There have been posts where people who are enrolled in credit steps having luck at the 3 month mark and still receiving the credit steps increase in addition to the 3 month increase. Give it a shot after your third statement posts.

Generally cash advance line is part of your actual CL not a separate line of credit.

Congrats on CLI! Your Cash Advance amount is not a separate line of credit; cash advances would factor into your overall CL of $5300. Cap One does not allow reallocation of CLs unless you combine CCs (this results in closure of the donor CC).
