this is a very common issue with them. Easy fix.

use your banks or Amex serve to push a $1 payment thru and when your statement cycle ends, they will uodate

and bring the account and account info current.... Your account will just be -$1

my my express account is -$3 now but I will be getting a $25 gift card online , PIF few days later

and closing my account . Hope this helps

I was going over my credit reports and discovered whwn Haband increased my CL from $850 to $1100 in June 2015 it had not yet updated on my reports. I sent a secure message request for correction on the Haband Credit Card website. I got a messsage saying the account reports eery 30 days and allow 45 days for the credit bureaus to update my reports. I sent a message back thanking him and said I would watch for it. My misatake. 3 days later I got a message telling me I was unable to make any charges on my Haband account, claiming it had been inactive or 13 months. I was given a number to call for assisstance with my account. First, the account hadn't been inactive, I had just paid any charges before statement closing because some of the CRAs had taken to dropping my score for small intermittent charges. Second, the person at the phone number knew nothing. Tried to reinstate my account but it was blocked, she aid there was a hold for information on a credit report and I should get a letter in the mail. All I did was say Thank you. I've had problems beore with Comenity when I've asked about correcting errors on my reports.

One thing I did notice is comenity like activity and PIF before statement close seems to affect their reporting. They probably look at like there's nothing to report if the card started at $0 bal then charged $300 but paid before they closed the next statement. At least that's what I noticed on my cards, my CLIs aren't reporting on the cards I haven't used since last August they are still reporting that last high balance with $0 due now and last activity date shows August 2015. I just used a card for the first time and that one reported the new CLI and new balance immediately.

Yeah. One of my Comenity cards is reporting a credit limit that's too low. I disputed it today.

COmenity likes the balance to report on a statement.... let the statement print and then pay the bill at least once a year

Heres the deal with Comenity.....if you get a CLI on one of their cards, you need to use it again even for a small purchase for them to report again.

I have always PIF BEFORE my statements cut, and they always cut with a $0 ball, and Ive never had any issues.

As long as there is "activity" for the month, it should report, whether its a $0 ball or not.

Activity does include a purchase, and a payment, all within same billing cycle. Ive never had issues with them reporting when I use the card.

I don't care what they tell you, "activity" on an acct is defined as purchases and payments made on the acct.
