Capital One Cash Advance Combining

For those of you that have already combined your Capital One accounts; did your cash advances combine too? Or did your cash advance stay the same as it always was on the card you added to"?

I am not looking to use the cash advance option; I'm just curious

That's an excellent question, and I don't have the answer.

I know that with both of my QS cards, my cash advance line has stayed the same since the card was opened, even though I've had numerous CLIs. I've never checked to see about getting it raised (there are more efficient ways to get cash off a Capital One card than a cash advance) but I suppose the option does exist with a CSR.

Perhaps somebody else will have a better answer.

This question is aimed at the people who have already combined their accounts. If you had 2 quicksilver cards and each of them had a $500 cash advance limit; when you combined the accounts did your cash advance limit become $1000 ?

I understood... I was just adding my own experience that they have never increased my CA limit for any reason.

It will be interesting, indeed, to see if anybody reports having the CA line of the remaining card adjusted to reflect the combined CA line of the individual cards before combination, which is what you're asking.

I can answer. My cash advance limit increased also after combination. It now sits at half of what my newly combined limit is. I hope this helps!

I remember once... I received a Increase on a QS1, and my CA went from $200 to 700. Have no idea of Acct combine... But I will combined this month, if I get my increase. Will report back any changes...

Just give people a chance to respond....sometimes its not instantly

I had 5 cc's, combined them all into one (Venture)...Limit is $47k, and my cash advance limit is $21.5k

Whatever your cash advance limits were on your previous cards you had, before combining, should populate over.
