Chase Mobile Payment

So I used the make a payment feature on my Chase Freedom app last Friday. I happened to look at the account today and saw I only had $14.47 in available credit. I called them and asked why it was so low. Apparently they are holding the payment for a week before releasing the credit line back to me. It was debited from my bank account last friday and posted to the Chase account. I'm very disappointed in Chase right now. Every other online payment I've made to them has posted and cleared almost immediately, why even offer a mobile payment feature if it's going to take a week before I can use that limit again?

I've scheduled payments through the app and never had any problems. Payments are usually credited within a couple of days and available credit restored.

From the same bank? (If you hadn't said you'd made multiple other payments I'd have guessed a new account).

This was the third or fourth payment I've made, all from the same account. The only difference was that I authorized it from my phone instead of my computer.

The only time I ever had the above mentioned issue was when I paid with a brand new bank account, they held the funds for five business days.
