Capital One Spring Cleanup - Closing and Combining

I just finished with closing my Cap One secured and combining a quicksilver and a venture into a one fat quicksilver.

What I had:

Platinum Secured - $800 (AF $29)

Quicksilver - $6000 (no AF)

Venture - $11000 (AF $59)

Moving Forward

Quicksilver - 17000 (no AF)

I was not sure about axing the Secured Platinum since it was my first card ever but considering my other cards are fairly simmilar in age and Cap One removed the option of adding funds to that account or doing a PC sometime this decade, the decision came relatively easy.

The Quicksilver just turned one year last month and here is my journey with it

February 2015 - 1000 SCL

Credit Steps CLI - 3000 CL

Januray 2016 CLI - 6000 CL

Venture donation - 17000 CL

If I didn't have so many inqs I would apply for another cap 1 card just so I could get the clock ticking and combine in 6 months but alas I've taken the oath of the garden

Better stay away from some parts of the forum, the oath of the garden while strong, cannot bear the temptations found within the approvals section.
