Using Barclay Rewards MC at Walmart

I was browing the Barclaycard site and I noticed that in the descrption of the Rewards Mastarcard, it says 2X points on groceries EXCLUDING Target and Walmart. So I checked my acccount and my last Walmart purchase earned double points. Is this a new thing? Are Walmarts going to be excluded in the future or has anyone noticed that their rewards aren't double shopping at Target or Walmart?

I've used mine at Walmart a few times and every time I've gotten double points. Maybe for new cardholders it'll be excluded?

They probably put that verbiage as a "cover their butt" thing because not every target or Walmart will code as grocery, rather than because they are going to specifically exclude them.

My GF uses my Barclay's at Walmart and Sam's. Nothing but 2 points for every dollar. She's been racking up some serious miles lately.
