      <title>Chase shut me down...</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I logged in today and found out that Chase has closed all of my accounts: Ink Plus, CS, United Biz, and British Airways. This happened after I asked for a recon through SM for SW Biz.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have been with Chase for over a year. Recently I did an AoR but only 1 Citi card showed up in my reports. I have 0 HP on TU, 10 on EX and 10 on EQ. I think probably the reason is that I applied for 3 Chase on the same day last month. Chase approved my BA card for 10k, denied the SW Biz and pended my SW personal application. I used to have a checking account with Chase, but closed it last year. Never deposited MO in my checking account. I did around $5500 MS on my Chase Ink +, not that heavy. My FICO scores are 775 TU, 752 EX, 734 EQ.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I called and the rep asked me some questions regarding income and authorized users on my account, and she said that she would send a request to reinstate my accounts, but it would take 48 hours for them to reach the decision. My authorized users recently applied for Chase cards, so I wonder if that's the thing poking them.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Edit: I remember buying around $7,500 VGCs across my cards, but the total amount of ~$13,000 is still low to be detected I think. I almost always pay off my balance within the same billing period, sometimes from my checking account, sometimes from Serve.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Edit 2: I met the spending requirement on my BA card, so will I still get my bonus points?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Update: the authorized user on my CSP got all of his accounts shut down also. He was recently approved for 2 Chase cards. At this point, I'm pretty sure this shutdown thing is related to the two of us applying for many Chase cards at once.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Update 2: In Chase's notice of account closure it says that my accounts were closed due to the following reasons:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Too many accounts opened recently&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Accounts not used as intended&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Chase decided not to reopen my accounts because of "number of credit card accounts," "too many accounts opened recently," and "too many requests for credit or/reviews of credit."&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;And on the rejection letter on the same date, my SW personal app was denied due to "previous unsatisfactory relationship with this bank," so now I know I have been officially blacklisted by Chase.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Oh well, it was fun while it lasted&amp;nbsp;&lt;img id="smileyvery-happy" class="emoticon emoticon-smileyvery-happy" src="https://ficoforums.myfico.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif" alt="Smiley Very Happy" title="Smiley Very Happy" /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Btw, I sent them a SM and the rep refunded my Ink + AF. He also said that I would receive my 50k Avios in April billing cycle, which I'm kinda doubtful, because as of today I haven't even received 2500 Avios from the purchases made during March billling period.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Guessing when you reconned the SW Biz card they dug a bit deeper and looked for any reason to shut you down and probably picked the 3 apps in one day among possibly the MS they might or might not of picked up on and other factors. &amp;nbsp;Sorry to hear about the closures and wish you luck on getting re-opened.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
