Is it worth applying for a Barclaycard credit card if I already have 2 Cap 1 cards and a few Shopping cart trick cards? My credit report states that my credit limit is on the low end and Im wondering if that is something that hurts my credit? Any advice is welcome =D

It's worth it if they have a card you need and your profile can get you approved. Other cards be damned.

The question of "Is it worthy it'? I suggest you re-phrase your question. It isn't worth it to us as we are not the one going to use it so the answer is no. The question now becomes is it worth it for you based on your spending habits to have this card? Why do you want it? What are your scores? Bear in mind the people here don't have your credit profile in front of them so be as candid as you can to get the best responses. Whilst answering the question above, tell us also about your credit scores..

your credit limits don't affect your score. the only factors are payment history, debt owed, age of credit and the pursuit of new credit. if they have a card you want then try it out but don't get it for the sake of getting it

@yesitsme .. I don't WANT any credit card but they are a necessary evil in building credit. So if lower credit limits don't truly have any bearing on my score as Xterror answered for me then it isn't worth the HP for me applying for the card. My confusion came from a statement claiming my credit limit was poor.
