Chase Freedom question...

So this morningI got an email from Chase. It says you can gain 2%-15% back!....However where is the 15%? I don't have the unlimited version of the card just Freedom. I like the 5% per quarter but if I can get 15% back...How do I sign up for that!? (Joking!) However, is this a myth?

you can get it on the portal but it's usually for things you would never buy. hence why discover is better lol.

If you look at the UR mall then you might find some merchants offering 15% ...happy searching

Could be! I like my Discover too but with CSP + Freedom the return is much better for me. In terms of travel anyways. I keep my Discover anyways! I use it from time to time!

yeah if you use UR for travel then that combo is much better. if you wanna use a portal i would use discover deals over the chase portal.

Does the email not say? I'd guess via the UR portal for a specific retailer and with terms that come with the higher earn rate.

Don't conflate "you" and "I". Different people buy from different vendors. You might not use much of the retailers in the UR portal but that doesn't mean that everyone does not.

takeshi i think it was either a joke or a sarcastic remark saying that the portal doesn't typically have 15% merchants.

Looks like you can get 25% back for some items.

Restaurant dot Com has offers for local restaurants such as buy a $10 gift card for a local pizza joint for $4. The $10 can be applied to a minimum $20 purchase at the restaurant, so it's effectively $6 off the $20 or 12% off the $20.
